This certified organic Reishi mushroom powder is wild-harvested from the forests of Zhejiang Province, China. Grown naturally on willow wood, the fruiting body of this fungus is collected and dried and ground into a fine brown powder, free of fillers and all additives. The aroma and taste have mild earthy notes that easily blend with savoury dishes and hot or cold beverages.
Traditionally, Reishi mushroom is known in China as the ‘immortality mushroom’ and has been used to support and balance the nervous system as it has adaptogenic properties.
How to Use:
Mix 1 teaspoon (5g) of this Reishi powder with warm water or your preferred milk. Combine with chai spices and sweetener of choice or try it in a delicious hot chocolate. Add some to your morning superfood smoothie or green juice combos.
Reishi mushroom can also be used in cooking. Add it to your favourite dishes just before serving, such as curries, pasta sauces, casseroles and hotpots. It adds a lovely depth to simple broths or noodles. Whisk some into an oil or tahini-based salad dressing or savoury sauce.
