Ancient Minerals Magnesium Lotion contains an ultra-pure, highly-concentrated form of Magnesium Chloride (MgCl2). The magnesium in this formula is sourced from the ancient Zechstein seabed in Europe, and it is blended with certified organic vegetable glycerin, jojoba oil, coconut oil, and shea butter. Other natural ingredients are added to give it the consistency needed for an excellent skin care lotion/massage oil and to act as preservatives. The product is totally fragrance free.
The magnesium chloride in the lotion is extremely pure because the seabed lies 1,600 to 2,000 meters beneath the surface of the earth, where it has been protected for 250 million years. One ounce of the lotion provides one gram of magnesium (11% magnesium chloride) and trace elements from pure, unpolluted deposits in the ancient seabed. This extremely pure magnesium lotion offers a low sodium content.
