Organic virgin coconut oil is very heat stable so it makes an excellent cooking and frying oil. It has a subtle coconut aroma and adds a very mild pleasant hint of coconut taste to the food. Because of the natural stability of coconut oils it is slow to oxidize and thus resistant to rancidity, lasting up to two years.
Because coconut oil is high in natural anti-oxidants, it is not necessary to refrigerate it. Simply keep it in the pantry cupboard.
No GMO. Unbleached and unrefined. No added colours, flavours or preservatives.
Cooking with Coconut Oil...
Organic Coconut oil is easy to use, substitute for other oils and fats in baking, melt in a pan for frying, or brush over your meats and vegetables for roasted! It is a white, semi-solid oil. It has a subtle coconut aroma and adds a very mild pleasant hint of coconut taste to the food. The warmer it is the more liquid it becomes. If the climate is cooler and a liquid oil is preferred, simply heat the coconut oil in a bowl within a bowl of hot water - it will melt quickly.
